I expect my church to be honest.

I don’t expect my church to be spotless,
I expect my church to atone.

I don’t expect my church to be correct,
I expect my church to be kind.

I don’t expect my church to be elite,
I expect my church to be inclusive.

I don’t expect my church to be complete,
I expect my church to be prophetic.

I don’t expect my church to be finished,
I expect my church to be seeking revelation.

I don’t expect my church to be pristine,
I expect my church to be praiseworthy.

I don’t expect my church to be perfect,
I expect my church to love me.
